Our Programmes
All of our programmes are designed to give people meaningful ways to participate, not just donate.
Whether it’s playing golf, running, volunteering, travelling, teaching, or simply buying a coffee, each programme allows individuals, schools, and businesses to be part of the solution in a way that feels natural to them.
Every activity is directly linked to real, visible impact — from assessing schools and funding playgrounds, to installing safe equipment and documenting the change. Participants don’t just support our work; they experience the journey, see the results, and share in the outcome.
By creating multiple ways to get involved, we turn goodwill into action and ensure that everyone who supports us can do so in a way that is personal, purposeful, and genuinely life-changing — for them and for the children we serve.
School Learning Programme

The School Learning Programme connects schools around the world with rural Cambodian schools, combining education, global awareness, and real-world impact.

Through this programme, students learn about the challenges Cambodian children face every day - from unsafe playgrounds and limited resources to differences in school facilities, daily life, and opportunities. It helps young people understand how fortunate they are, while developing empathy, global awareness, and a sense of responsibility toward others.

But this programme goes beyond learning.
Learning That Leads to Action

Participating schools are invited to fundraise for a specific Cambodian school in need. Students don’t just raise money - they follow the journey of the school they are supporting, from initial assessment to the replacement of dangerous playground equipment.

Children can:
-
Fundraise through school events, challenges, or activities
-
See exactly what their efforts are helping to fund
-
Receive updates, photos, and stories from the school they supported

This makes fundraising meaningful, personal, and empowering. Students see that their actions can create real change.

Cross-School Messaging & Connection
Where possible, we facilitate age-appropriate messaging and video exchanges between schools. Students can:
-
Ask questions about daily life and school experiences
-
Learn about cultural differences and similarities
-
Build understanding of life beyond their own country

These exchanges bring global learning to life in a way textbooks never can.

Lasting Impact for Both Schools
For Cambodian schools, the programme delivers safe, durable playgrounds that will serve thousands of children for decades.
For participating schools abroad, it delivers:
-
Global citizenship education
-
Pride in collective achievement
-
A powerful lesson that generosity and teamwork matter

Most importantly, it shows children everywhere that fun, safety, and childhood should never come at the cost of injury — and that even small efforts, when combined, can protect lives and change futures.

Education that inspires.
Fundraising that matters.
Impact that lasts.
Buy a Coffee - Build a Playground

Buy a Coffee, Build a Playground is a simple, community-led partnership that allows cafés and coffee shops to help fund safe playgrounds for rural Cambodian schools - one cup at a time.

Instead of donation boxes or one-off fundraisers, participating cafés commit to a small monthly contribution. That steady support is pooled directly into our current playground campaign, helping us replace dangerous, rusted equipment with safe, durable alternatives.

In return, cafés receive:
-
A small plaque or counter sign showing their support
-
A short story they can share with customers
-
Regular updates on the playground they’re helping to build

For customers, it feels good to know that their daily coffee supports something meaningful. For cafés, it builds trust, loyalty, and a genuine connection to the community — not just a logo or a badge.

Most importantly, it turns everyday moments into lasting impact.
A few cents from many coffees can help remove a dangerous playground and replace it with one that will serve thousands of children for decades.

It’s not about charity jars.
It’s about community, consistency, and visible change.
Golf for Good

Golf for Good is a unique charity travel experience that combines world-class golf, cultural discovery, and meaningful impact.
Guests join us for a 6-night hosted trip to Cambodia, enjoying rounds of golf at two of Cambodia’s top championship courses, alongside unforgettable cultural experiences including Angkor Wat and guided tours of Phnom Penh. The trip is carefully designed to be equally enjoyable for non-golfing partners, with luxury accommodation, sightseeing, dining, and wellness experiences included.

What makes Golf for Good truly special is its purpose.

A portion of every trip directly funds the replacement of a dangerous playground at a rural village school. During the trip, guests visit the school to open the new playground, meet the teachers and children, and see first-hand how their participation has transformed a community.

It is often the most powerful moment of the entire journey.
For many guests, this is the first time they see the real, lasting impact of their support - not in photos or reports, but in person, through laughter, smiles, and safe play.

Golf for Good is not just a holiday.
It’s not just a golf trip.
It’s a chance to experience Cambodia at its best - while helping protect childhoods and build something that will last for decades.

A trip to remember.
A difference that lasts a lifetime.
Volunteer and Tours

Our Volunteer Programme is a guided, immersive 2-week experience in Cambodia that combines meaningful hands-on volunteering with unforgettable cultural exploration.
Volunteers join us on a carefully planned journey that allows them to live close to the village school we are supporting, experience real Cambodian community life, and directly help transform an unsafe playground into a safe place for children to play.
Hands-On Impact Where It Matters
During the programme, volunteers spend 3–4 days in the village, working alongside our team and local community to:
-
Help build and install a new playground
-
Assist with preparation and safe installation work
-
Support teachers and staff at the school
-
Spend time with the children and understand daily village life
No specialist skills are required — just a willingness to help, learn, and get involved. Local workers lead construction, ensuring safety and long-term sustainability, while volunteers play a vital supporting role.
More Than Volunteering
The programme is designed to be balanced and enriching, combining volunteering with cultural discovery and travel. Volunteers also enjoy:
-
Guided tours of Cambodia’s highlights
-
Cultural experiences and local cuisine
-
Time in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap
-
Visits to temples, markets, and historical sites
-
Opportunities to relax, reflect, and connect with fellow volunteers
This makes the programme suitable for a wide range of participants — from gap-year travellers and students to professionals, couples, and retirees looking for a meaningful travel experience.
A Life-Changing Experience
One of the most powerful moments of the programme is seeing the playground completed and opened — knowing you helped turn danger into safety, and gave children something that will last for decades.
Volunteers leave with:
-
A deep connection to Cambodia
-
A clear understanding of the impact they’ve made
-
Memories and friendships that last a lifetime
This isn’t just a trip.
It’s a chance to build something real, experience Cambodia beyond the tourist trail, and be part of a story that continues long after you return home.

Good night Bright future

Good Nights. Bright Futures. is a community support programme that allows bars and nightlife venues to turn great nights out into lasting, positive impact for children in Cambodia.
Through a small, fixed monthly contribution, participating bars help fund the replacement of dangerous playground equipment in rural schools—equipment that is often rusted, broken, and still used daily by children.
The programme is run by Children’s Charity Cambodia and is designed to be simple, visible, and genuinely meaningful—for businesses, customers, and communities alike.
How It Works
Bars that join Good Nights. Bright Futures. contribute a small monthly amount and receive a discreet bar plaque recognising their support. The plaque tells customers that their night out is helping create safer childhoods, without any pressure to donate or change how the venue operates.
Funds raised go directly toward:
-
Removing unsafe playground equipment
-
Installing durable, long-lasting replacements
-
Preventing preventable childhood injuries
Why Bars Join
Customers increasingly choose venues that stand for something. By joining the programme, bars can:
-
Build stronger customer loyalty
-
Be remembered for the right reasons
-
Create a positive story customers talk about and share
-
Show real community responsibility with minimal cost
There’s no selling, no disruption, and no obligation placed on customers—just a clear signal that the venue cares.
What It Means for Customers
For customers, Good Nights. Bright Futures. adds meaning to a night out. Knowing that a favourite bar supports safer playgrounds gives people a feel-good connection to the place they choose to spend their time and money.
It turns a good night into something that lasts beyond the evening.
Real Impact, Real Transparency
Every playground supported through this programme is documented, prioritised, and replaced with equipment designed to withstand Cambodia’s climate and heavy daily use—lasting for decades, not years.
All funds are managed transparently, with clear reporting and visible results that partners can stand behind with confidence.
