Volunteering and Tours
Our Volunteer Programme is a guided, immersive 2-week experience in Cambodia that combines meaningful hands-on volunteering with unforgettable cultural exploration.
Volunteers join us on a carefully planned journey that allows them to live close to the village school we are supporting, experience real Cambodian community life, and directly help transform an unsafe playground into a safe place for children to play.
Hands-On Impact Where It Matters
During the programme, volunteers spend 3–4 days in the village, working alongside our team and local community to:
-
Help build and install a new playground
-
Assist with preparation and safe installation work
-
Support teachers and staff at the school
-
Spend time with the children and understand daily village life
No specialist skills are required — just a willingness to help, learn, and get involved. Local workers lead construction, ensuring safety and long-term sustainability, while volunteers play a vital supporting role.
More Than Volunteering
The programme is designed to be balanced and enriching, combining volunteering with cultural discovery and travel. Volunteers also enjoy:
-
Guided tours of Cambodia’s highlights
-
Cultural experiences and local cuisine
-
Time in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap
-
Visits to temples, markets, and historical sites
-
Opportunities to relax, reflect, and connect with fellow volunteers
This makes the programme suitable for a wide range of participants — from gap-year travellers and students to professionals, couples, and retirees looking for a meaningful travel experience.
A Life-Changing Experience
One of the most powerful moments of the programme is seeing the playground completed and opened — knowing you helped turn danger into safety, and gave children something that will last for decades.
Volunteers leave with:
-
A deep connection to Cambodia
-
A clear understanding of the impact they’ve made
-
Memories and friendships that last a lifetime
This isn’t just a trip.
It’s a chance to build something real, experience Cambodia beyond the tourist trail, and be part of a story that continues long after you return home.
